It’s wonderful how often the films make reference to the legendary Guru Dutt. Dulquer does a fantastic job portraying the serial killer Danny. What surprises you is that he never appears to be inhuman despite playing it cruelly. Sunny Deol and Shreya Dhanwanthary are a joy to watch on screen. Vishal Sinha‘s cinematography is spot on, creating a world of thrill and romance together.
The movie grabs your attention immediately away. But the suspense begins to wear off as the movie goes on. It also includes a romantic track between Nila (Shreya) and Danny (Dulquer). The romance is lovely with excellent music from Guru Dutt‘s movies. Despite all of this, the movie ends suddenly. It appears that Balki hurried the movie’s completion.
Chup is an important film. It initiates a discussion. It demonstrates the value of an open interaction between critics and filmmakers. ZINDA REHNE KE LIYE CINEMA CHAHIYE.
